Primary Rule of Copyright
Creators on Quidlr should only upload notes that they have created themselves or for which they have obtained explicit permission to use. It is prohibited to upload notes created by others or to include copyrighted content without the necessary authorizations, such as text from books, articles, or notes made by other individuals.
Balance Between Copyright and Freedom of Expression

We encourage rightsholders to consider the relevance of copyright exceptions before submitting takedown requests, aiming to strike a balance between copyright protection and the freedom of expression, which may be safeguarded under applicable copyright laws.
Copyright Management Tools
Quidlr offers comprehensive Copyright Management tools designed to assist rightsholders in effectively managing their content. We collaborate closely with rightsholders to provide appropriate features based on the scope of their copyrighted material and their resources dedicated to responsible content management online. Our Copyright Management Suite includes various methods for rightsholders to submit copyright claims. The simplest way to have unauthorized copies of copyrighted content removed is by manually submitting a copyright notification through our DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) webform. Handling Copyright Infringement on Quidlr
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA complaint through our webform, Quidlr will promptly remove the infringing content and apply a copyright strike to the user's account. If a user accumulates three copyright strikes within 60 days, their account and any associated notes will be removed.
